I went to take my dog out for a walk today as i do most days. and as per usual there are other people out walking too. Every now and again I stop to take a picture, which most people dont seem to mind. But ocasionly I'll get some mid 40 onwards man or woman stare at me and look down on me as if to say "youths of today". They straight away class me into a group as if im upto usual youth shanaagans, when the truth is im not. In fact there is no usual youth shananigans as its only the minute minority that put that stereotypical tag on us. So that if we ever walk past an old lady and say good morning you know that they are thinking in their heads that your gonna jump them any minute. when the truth is your not. They talk about living in a modern age where we are doing away with all the cultural/ethical issues where racism or sexism doesnt exist. But whilst all this is going on we are missing the picture that in fact a new hatred is begining and that is age groups looking down on each other. So next time you see an old lady don't ignore her thinking horrible old hag and next time you see a teenager dont straight away assume he/she is upto no good because chances are that they are just trying to get on with their every day lives.
